The Serengeti is known for its huge wildlife population. White-bearded wildebeest, zebras, and gazelle migrate annually during the great migration from the plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania to the grasslands of the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh grass.

The park covers 5,700 sq miles, (14,763 sq km), it’s larger than Connecticut, with at most a couple of hundred vehicles driving around.
The Serengeti National Park can be divided into 3 sections. The popular southern/central part (Seronera Valley), is what the Maasai called the “Serengeti”, the land of endless plains. It’s classic savannah, dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife.
The western corridor is marked by the Grumeti River and has more forests and dense bush. The north, Lobo area, which meets up with Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve, is the least visited section.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha, and from there we drive to Serengeti National Park. Your first game drive follows in the afternoon.

On this day, as you wake up early in the morning and have your sumptuous breakfast, you are all set for a full-day game drive at Serengeti National Park. Pickup is arranged from your camp and heads out to Serengeti National Park. This place is the true definition of wildlife and it offers diverse landscapes such as acacia woodland, rolling plains, swamps, rivers, and dry seasonal forests. We rise early and drive to Ngorongoro for the crater tour. We head back to Arusha late afternoon and arrive in the evening where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
